D2 Vienna Conference — Opening Titles

SYNOPSIS_

In 2021, I collaborated with Emanuele Serra to create the opening titles for the D2 Conference in Vienna.

The project came through my connection with Fabio Palvelli, a former university colleague, and developed into a compact but atmospheric title sequence built around the event’s visual identity. The piece combines abstract 3D forms, soft volumetric lighting and a deep purple palette to create a polished, cinematic introduction for the conference.

Rather than treating the titles as a simple name sequence, we shaped them as a small visual system: floating geometric structures, glowing objects and slow camera movements create a sense of depth, mystery and anticipation. The result is a refined opener that feels architectural, digital and slightly surreal, setting the tone before the event begins.

My role covered the visual direction and motion design of the sequence, working closely with Emanuele Serra on the 3D execution and final look.
